spiritual learner | beginner | slow-boil

This slow-boil process is to be undertaken with one’s children.  It can be extremely fulfilling but requires time and a willingness to adjust in order to make it an enjoyable experience.  The curriculum can be self-designed and needs to be tweaked and refined based on plateaus and ages of the children.

The following is one possible template

- Learn the script (if it has a different script to your first language) using visualisation

- Read children’s books together, depending on how quick you or your children are, you could alternate per page

- Watch children’s cartoons together.  Search ‘you language + fairy tales’ on YouTube for an array of entry level stuff

- Come up with a frequent sentences chart and slowly implement them into your day-to-day communication.  ‘Frequent Sentences’ are the phrases we repeat, sometimes a number of times each day, eg.  “I’m going to the toilet”, “put your shoes on”, “are you hungry?”

- start a custom-made Memrise course based on common words you encounter while reading.
